Each level has two courses. Videos, reading, listening and exercises connect English to technology roles and workplace situations. Review the syllabi to choose the right fit for your learners.
Intermediate

Questions from institutions
What is free, and what is paid?
On Edube, Module 1 of each course can be tried free. The institutional evaluation provides one full course and teaching tools within the limits above. Full course access beyond that evaluation is paid; certification exams and practice tests are separate purchases.
Do our students need to start at A2?
Choose a level that fits their existing English. Review the course syllabi and use the level test to help identify a starting point. Our team can discuss the options with you.
Does completing a course automatically award certification?
No. Course assessments support learning. Certification requires passing the separately purchased exam at the chosen level.
Are the same language skills assessed at every level?
No. The A2 and B1 exams cover use of English, listening, reading, writing and speaking. B2 assesses use of English, listening and reading. Check the current exam specifications and policies when planning certification.
How did English for IT begin?
The program began as a collaboration between OpenEDG and Certiport, a Pearson VUE business, to address English-language needs in IT. Today, the course range includes A2, B1 and B2 options.
