OpenEDG was established on the foundations of the C++ Institute in 2011. Since then we have been engaged in activities that revolve around supporting initiatives to promote the idea of building a modern, educated and digital society. Mac is co-founder of the Python Institute, CEO of OpenEDG, and the Vice President of Foundation for IT Development (Fundacja IT).
An advocate for education, Maciek is passionate about creating modern, efficient learning programs, and he uses his knowledge and skills to develop cutting-edge educational technology to be employed both in-person and online.
Since 2001, Maciek has been engaged in developing some of the biggest education initiatives around the world, including Cisco Networking Academy and the Edube Interactive CMS.
He now sits as a participating member of Cisco's Networking Academy Advisory Board.
Christopher Boguslawski, PhD
Co-Founder, VP
Chris is co-founder of the Python Institute, and President & CTO of OpenEDG, and the Foundation for IT Development (Fundacja IT).
He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of telecommunications, team management, large-scale project management, and programming in Python, C, C++, and JavaScript. In addition, he is the co-founder of various education and certification systems in C, C++ and Python programming languages.
His main areas of interest include network management, traffic control in broadband data communication networks, Next Generation Networks (NGN), and telemedicine.
Chris has been involved in the implementation of telemedicine projects related to HIS, RIS, and PACS systems, and is currently developing and establishing a MEDEOS (Medical Expertise Ordering System) system.
He is a prolific author with numerous scientific publications in the fields of telecommunications and telemedicine.
Greg serves as the VP and Chief Product, Operations & Development Officer at OpenEDG, and as a Consultant at the Foundation for IT Development and the Python Institute.
He is one of the pioneering members engaged in the project from its inception, playing a pivotal role in its development and growth.
As a co-author of various Python, C and C++ exams and a key designer of several learning solutions, Greg has significantly contributed to the early educational resources offered by the Institute. He is also the co-designer and chief strategist behind Edube Interactive, CMS, LMS, and Testing Service Systems, showcasing his expertise in educational technology.
With a passion for technology, digital literacy and a firm belief in the importance of programming and computer skills in modern education, Greg now curates the program at OpenEDG and acts as the leading consultant.
Sebastian is Head of Software Development at OpenEDG, and Head of Software Development and QA at the Foundation for the IT Development.
Sebastian is co-designer and one of the main architects of the Edube Interactive, CMS, LMS, and test delivery systems. He is the creator of the Edube Interactive Online Programming environment.
Sebastian is a talented and hard-working engineer, a tech enthusiast and open source advocate.
Roobed serves as Senior Director of Growth, Strategy & Operations for the Americas at the Python Institute, where he leads strategic planning efforts, builds regional partnerships, and supports long-term program growth across the education and technology sectors.
He works closely with educators, school and university leaders, foundations, and IT organizations to expand access to Python education and promote the adoption of learning and certification programs. By collaborating with decision-makers across both education and industry, he helps align initiatives with regional goals and workforce needs.
With a background in academia and a strong belief in the value of digital skills, Roobed is committed to helping students, educators, and institutions succeed in an evolving, technology-driven world. His work supports a more inclusive learning ecosystem and helps bridge the gap between education and meaningful career pathways.
Monika Zarosa
Treasurer & Finance Director | Python Institute
Monika serves as Treasurer & Finance Director at the Python Institute, where she manages the organization’s financial operations with a focus on transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.
She oversees budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance processes, helping ensure that all activities align with both regulatory requirements and the Institute’s strategic goals. Her work plays a key role in supporting the continued growth and stability of the organization.
With a detail-oriented approach and strong commitment to responsible financial management, Monika helps ensure that resources are used effectively to support the Institute’s educational mission and global initiatives.
Will is Head of Content and Quality at OpenEDG. He coordinates a team of language and subject matter experts to create courses and exams to help people achieve their learning goals.
He is responsible for ensuring that all content is of the highest quality, using methods such as psychometry, beta testing, and peer review.
Will is very passionate about the open source concept, including open source programming and knowledge sharing. He is a regular contributor to Wikipedia.
Konrad is Head of Design and Creativity at OpenEDG.
He is responsible for the communication and visual development of the organization sectors related to marketing and content design.
Konrad's passion is visual arts, graphic design, and branding. He is a strong advocate for open source and public domain.
Lidia is Head of Customer Success at OpenEDG.
She is responsible for supporting students and test candidates, and building, maintaining, and optimizing relationships with customers, by helping them fulfill, their educational and business goals.
Lidia is a great fan of Australia, horror books, and vegan food.
Martyna is Chief Sales Officer of OpenEDG, and Chief Revenue Officer of the Foundation for IT Development.
She oversees the entire revenue organization, and makes sure the sales teams achieve the target growth and meet sales revenue targets.
A talent first strategist and driver of operational excellence, Martyna is a seasoned sales team leader with strong analytical and business development skills.
Greg is the Client Services & Development Manager.
He works in our global markets to create and maintain meaningful relationships by supporting our OpenEDG partners in the education, government, and business sectors. Greg enjoys helping others to develop and grow to become successful.
Outside of work, Greg's love for baseball and passion for exploring new cultures and cuisines reflect his belief that every experience, whether professional or personal, is an opportunity to grow.
Juan serves as Director of Technical Content Development at the Python Institute, where he leads the creation of technical learning materials and certification content that support real-world skill development.
He works closely with developers, educators, and subject matter experts to design and refine training resources that reflect current industry practices and align with the needs of learners and professionals alike. His focus is on building content that is both accurate and practical, with clear instructional value.
With a background in computer science and a strong interest in applied education, Juan brings both academic insight and technical expertise to every project – ensuring that content is rigorous, relevant, and effective for learners worldwide.

Responsible for driving the regional growth and positioning of OpenEDG certifications by promoting education and talent development through collaboration with educational institutions, public and private organizations, and strategic partners.
The goal is to encourage the adoption of international standards, integrate certifications into academic curricula, expand their reach and impact, and contribute to strengthening technological competencies and employability across the region.
Steven Djavaheri
Regional Development Manager | Florida
Leads the expansion and positioning of OpenEDG certifications by helping education systems align industry-recognized credentials to state and regional CTE frameworks, funding mechanisms, and workforce priorities.
His work enables schools and districts to leverage credentials within Florida’s CAPE Industry Certification Funding List and other state and national initiatives that generate acceleration points and grant-eligible outcomes. He collaborates with education agencies, school districts, colleges, and strategic partners to integrate OpenEDG certifications into curricula and strengthen high-demand technology career pathways, supporting student achievement and workforce readiness.
