Clear Space Requirements

Keep The Digital Literacy Logo separate from any other visual elements to ensure visibility. The minimum space around The Digital Literacy Logo should be at least as large as the circle space of the logo icon.

Logo Dimensions

The Digital Literacy Logo has been tailored for certain dimensions. Whether displayed on a smartphone or a large screen, clarity and readability are crucial.

The Digital Literacy Logo sizes

Minimum height for digital usage is 20 dp (20 px), and for print it's 0.125 inches (3.1 mm).

Unacceptable Practices

The Digital Literacy Logo is a recognized symbol and should not be modified. Do not incorporate The Digital Literacy Logo into sentences or phrases.

The Digital Literacy Logo in a sentence

Don't use the logo in a phrase or sentence.

Full-Color Logo Details

The full-color Digital Literacy logos should be displayed with Orange (#fd6824) and Zodiac Blue (#0f223c) colors.

Monochrome Option

If the full-color logo isn't suitable for a certain background, a monochrome option is available. In this case, the icon color matches the wordmark color (Mine Shaft or White), and the 'DL' in the icon will let the background show through.

If you’re in the entertainment and media industry, all product placements that show any Digital Literacy Logos, Icons, or elements of the UI (e.g. buttons, pages, mobile screenshots, etc.) in any media (e.g. TV, music videos, movies, books, etc.) must be approved by OpenEDG. Please adhere to the Logo usage guidelines, then submit your request in English through the email: services@openedg.org.

Important: If you’re part of the press, you don’t need to submit a request for review through the email. Please read Using the Digital Literacy Logo. After that, you’re welcome to download the Digital Literacy Logo or Icon for use.

Before submitting your product placements request, please ensure the following

  • The product placement reflects Digital Literacy or OpenEDG in a positive or neutral way.
  • Any video content developed specifically for the product placement does not violate OpenEDG's Community Guidelines and would not violate OpenEDG’s Terms of Use.
  • You can provide ample context for the placement to submit with your request. You should submit one PDF file including mocks of the Digital Literacy Logo and/or Digital Literacy interface in context, as well as relevant script pages, an overview of the production, the production company name, the production name, and any other details such as actor(s), director, etc., which will help us understand how Digital Literacy will be represented in the production.
