- CSS Fundamentals: Applying basic and advanced CSS styling, positioning, and integrating CSS frameworks and preprocessors.
- Integrating HTML and CSS: Linking CSS with HTML, developing styled web components, and validating and debugging HTML and CSS.

The WDE exam, coded as WDE-40-0x, is an entry-level test with no prerequisites, comprising 35-40 single and multiple-selection items. It will have a 40-minute duration and require a 70% passing score. Priced at $59, it’ll be aligned with the "Web Development Essentials: HTML & CSS'' two-course series available at Edube.org from Q1 2024.
Test Candidates will be able to take the exam through OpenEDG Testing Service (TestNow) or OpenEDG Testing Centers.
