OpenEDG and Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Strengthen Global Alliance

We're thrilled to announce a significant step forward in our collaboration with the Linux Professional Institute (LPI). Recently, Greg Czuchaj and William McNeice from OpenEDG had the opportunity to meet with Hernan Pachas and Elzbieta Godlewska from LPI at the Barcelona Diagonal Hilton hotel. This meeting, held on October 30, 2023, marked a pivotal moment in our journey towards enhancing career paths for software development professionals.

One of the key outcomes of this meeting was the mutual agreement to facilitate easier access for OpenEDG and LPI learners to the open-source tools covered by OpenEDG and LPI certifications. Moreover, our collaboration will lead to the creation of new courses and certifications, enriching the learning landscape for software developers.

A significant highlight of our discussion was the strategy to start offering the LPI Linux Essentials course on Edube.org. Furthermore, we plan to integrate LPI selected certifications via TestNow and OpenEDG selected certifications through LPI's test delivery software.

This meeting underlines our shared vision for collaborative growth and the development of high-quality educational resources. By joining forces, we aim to equip professionals with the skills and certifications needed to excel in the ever-evolving world of open-source software development.
