English for IT Presented at Cisco IPD Poland 2023
As part of our participation in the IPD week on September 25-29, OpenEDG's Urzula Sajkowska gave a presentation about the English for IT courses. The presentation covered the scope of the course, the main features of the platform, and the instructor-led mode. The presentation was tailored to the needs of English teachers in secondary schools, many of whom are interested in using the course during classes at school.

The response to this presentation was overwhelmingly positive, with several schools expressing interest in becoming Cisco academies. This development signals a significant step forward in the adoption of advanced educational technologies in Poland's high schools. The EIT courses seem to be more interesting and engaging for students than a classic textbook because they cover IT-related topics and give them a chance to prepare for their future work.
The next Special Instructor Professional Development week will take place on November 27 - December 1 and we're looking forward to meeting even more teachers committed to preparing their students to the best of their ability for the job market.
